Abstract(s)
Devido ao fenómeno da globalização, e consequente procura pela competitividade,
atualmente existente no panorama empresarial, as empresas sentem a necessidade de se
reinventarem e apostarem na evolução dos seus métodos de trabalho, conseguindo assim
evoluir e prestar um melhor serviƧo, oferecendo uma otimização do custo/benefĆcio aos seus
clientes.
Como tal, as empresas procuram apostar em novas metodologias que permitam atingir
os objetivos acima mencionados. Face a este cenÔrio, muitas empresas têm, atualmente,
recorrido Ć metodologia Kaizen-Lean. Estas metodologias visam a aposta na melhoria contĆnua
de todos os processos, e na procura constante pela redução do desperdĆcio, atravĆ©s de mĆ©todos
de organização dos espaços e definição de padrões de funcionamento.
A presente investigação teve como objetivo a implementação da metodologia Kaizen-
Lean na empresa E.Leclerc, mais propriamente na loja situada em Lousada, empresa que se
destina ao mercado da distribuição, trabalhando como retalhista na comercialização de todo o
tipo de produtos.
Numa primeira fase foi realizada uma revisão da literatura relativamente ao método
utilizado pela Toyota, onde inicialmente se implementaram as metodologias Kaizen-Lean.
Seguindo depois para uma descrição das mesmas, nesse ponto para além de uma explanação
dos ideais das metodologias, explicam-se tambĆ©m quais os princĆpios e as ferramentas que as
sustentam.
O objetivo passou por perceber de que forma as ferramentas das metodologias podiam
ser implementadas nesta empresa. Após essa perceção, o foco foi direcionado para a
implementação nas Ôreas de trabalho das ferramentas que mais se enquadravam em cada
secção.
O método utilizado foi investigação-ação procurando inicialmente obter uma ampla
perceção das metodologias, para numa segunda fase se efetuar a implementação dessas pelas
diferentes zonas.
Como último ponto, apresenta-se o inquérito que foi realizado aos 17 colaboradores
envolvidos neste processo, assim como uma anÔlise às respostas, daà resultou a perceção de que
as alterações permitiram reduzir o tempo de procura dos produtos, tornou a sua arrumação
mais fÔcil e facilitou a organização das Ôreas de trabalho. Conclui-se também que com as
alteraƧƵes conseguiram-se ganhos de tempo entre os 20 e os 40%, quando comparado com o
gasto de tempo inicial.
Due to the phenomenon of globalization and consequent augment in competitivity in the actual corporate scenario, companies have the need to reinvent themselves, improving their working methods so they can evolve and provide a better service in the market, which will end up optimizing their clientsā cost/benefit. Thus, it is essential that companies invest in new methodologies in order to reach their goals. In fact, most companies have been using Kaizen/Lean methodology, that constantly seeks to reduce waste recurring to space organization methods and setting functioning standards. The present masterās dissertation is a field work implemented in the Lousada store of the supermarket chain E. Leclerc. The chain works as retailer, selling all kind of products. This work covers the method used by Toyota, where the Kaizen/Lean methodology was first implemented, through a literature review. Then, there is explained the methodology used, as well as, a full explanation of the ideals, principles and tools behind the methodology. The goal was to understand in which ways the methodology tools could be applied to the referred company. After that consciousness, the focus was directed towards the implementation of specific working areas/departments. The used method was research-action initially targeting a broad perception of the methodologies, and then afterwards in a second stage, implementing specific methods to specific internal departments. Finally, to complete this work an inquiry was made to the 17 workers involved in this research, analyzing their answers resulted in the perception that by involving every worker, all the departments became more efficient and practical in accomplishing their daily tasks. It was also concluded to the changes reached gains of time between 20 and 40%, when comparing if the initial time in the process.
