A presente dissertação tem como objetivo explorar o campo da infografia multimédia presente na imprensa digital.
Devido à incorporação de novas tecnologias e de diferentes tendências visuais, verificam-se mudanças substanciais nos modelos consolidados de design de jornais que originaram um crescimento na importância da imagem que o jornal tem na web.
Atualmente, um dos principais desafios do jornalismo é a adaptação do conteúdo jornalístico a um panorama tecnológico em constante estado de inovação. Surge então a necessidade de arranjar novas formas de publicar notícias. É aqui que a infografia multimédia ganha relevo, sendo o seu objetivo proporcionar uma nova experiência aos leitores, onde eles próprios podem ter o poder de explorar e/ou interagir com a narrativa.
Em suma, o documento procura através do estudo de casos, promover uma análise aos elementos e definições associadas à infografia multimédia, resultando em três modelos de análise e classificação.
The following dissertation aims to explore the multimedia infographics present in the digital press. Due to the implementation of new technologies and different visual tendencies, we can observe substantial changes in the models employed by newspaper design which fueled a growth in the image that newspapers now have on the web. One of the main challenges currently faced by journalism is to adapt journalistic content to a technological scape constantly evolving. The need for new ways of publishing articles arises. This is where multimedia infographics comes to show, its main purpose being to provide a new experience to readers, where they themselves can explore and/or interact with the narrative. In short, this dissertation seeks, through case studies, promote an analysis of the elements and definitions associated with multimedia infographics, resulting in three models of analysis and classification.
