A evolução tecnológica permite que as organizações possam inovar para além da emergência de novas formas de trabalho e de trâmite de informações. O meio eletrônico tende a aprimorar a gestão de processos e a otimizar o trabalho, com foco na eficiência dos resultados. Este estudo teve com objetivo verificar o impacto da adoção do Sistema Eletrônico de Informação (SEI), e buscou analisar específicamente como o sistema de informação (SI) influenciou no consumo e gastos com o material de expediente, e avaliar sua utilização nos diferentes setores da organização pesquisada. A investigação foi realizada junto ao IFRO Campus Vilhena, a recolha de dados foi efetuada por meio de questionários e análise documental, ao que se seguiu uma análise quantitativa do conteúdo. De seguida, procedeu-se uma análise dos dados a fim de avaliar a eficácia, eficiência e efetividade do sistema de informação.
Os resultados apontam para a existência de vantagens e inconvenientes na utilização do sistema. Demonstram que apesar do aumento do consumo de determinados bens após a implementação do SEI na organização, a maioria dos setores registraram uma economia de materiais de expediente, índice que interferiu diretamente na eficiência da utilização dos recursos públicos. O nível de satisfação com os recursos disponibilizados pelo SI indicam aceitação positiva pelos setores da organização.
Technological evolution allows organizations to innovate beyond the emergence of new forms of work and information processing. The electronic medium tends to improve the management of processes and to optimize the work, focusing on the efficiency of the results. This study aimed to verify the impact of the adoption of the Electronic Information System (SEI), and sought to analyze specifically how the information system (SI) influenced the consumption and expenditures of the work material, and to evaluate its use in the different sectors of the organization. The research was carried out with the IFRO Campus Vilhena, the data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentary analysis, followed by a quantitative analysis of the content. Next, an analysis of the data was carried out in order to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency and effectiveness of the information system. The results point to the existence of advantages and disadvantages in the use of the system. They show that despite the increase in the consumption of certain goods after the implementation of the SEI in the organization, most of the sectors recorded a saving of working materials, an index that directly interfered in the efficiency of the use of public resources. The level of satisfaction with the resources made available by the SI indicate positive acceptance by the sectors of the organization.
