Abstract(s)
This study proposes a practice for the voice and the body sustained on the Feldenkrais Method of Awareness Through Movement that at the same time serves to increase the knowledge of the instrument voice-body, and also enables the development of its potential. Simultaneously this model of practice aims to help the performer in the search of integration of both the vocal and the physical work, in the conviction that at many times it appears confusing, particularly in the acting schools, when voice and movement are learned separately, a necessary condition for the thorough knowledge of each specific area of an acting course. Thus we consider that this project might reveal itself as both a practical and a creative tool in the search of synchronicity of gesture and word and in the building of characters that communicate with authenticity the words of the text.
