dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto artístico es un estudio de los elementos formales y estilísticos presentes en “Estampes” de C. Debussy. El objetivo de este análisis es examinar la obra mediante diferentes puntos de vista con el fin de conocer el idioma compositivo. Posteriormente se aplicarían estos conocimientos para mejorar la interpretación al piano, ya que esta obra forma parte del recital del Máster en Interpretación. “Estampes” fue la obra que inició el periodo de madurez del compositor, después de “Pelléas et Mélisande”, donde definitivamente se aprecia la combinación de sus aspiraciones impresionistas y su lenguaje tan personal en el piano. Además de este hecho, el autor consigue desarrollar un mundo maravillosamente poético de tierras lejanas en una misma obra, donde Debussy nos ofrece la posibilidad de viajar sin movernos de casa. Para realizar este análisis, el primer paso ha sido el estudio del contexto político, económico y social, la situación artística de finales del siglo XIX y la aparición del impresionismo, así como la vida y obra del compositor. El segundo paso ha sido realizar el estudio de la obra por parámetros de armonía, melodía, ritmo, forma y sonido, y, por último, extraer las conclusiones estilísticas.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThe following artistic project is a study of the form and stylistic elements found in Debussy´s “Estampes”. It is necessary to examine the work from different points of view with the aim of learning the idiom of the composer and improving the piano interpretation of this work, which will be a part of the programme of the Master´s final concert. “Estampes” has been deemed suitable because it opened the composer´s maturity stage after “Pelléas et Mélisande”, where he definitely reconciles his impressionistic goals with his personal language at the piano. In addition to this important fact, Debussy develops, within this work, a wonderfully lyric world of distant lands, giving the audience a chance to magically travel without leaving home. The first step of this stylistic analysis has necessarily involved the study of the political, economic and social context of the period, the situation of the arts at the end of the 19th century and the development of Impressionism, as well as Debussy´s life and compositions. The second step has involved the study of harmony, melody, rhythm, form and sound parameters, and finally extracting the stylistic conclusions.pt_PT
