A problemática dos valores organizacionais tem um papel muito pertinente no contexto da cultura
organizacional. Numa tentativa de contribuir para o estudo da temática dos valores
organizacionais, e contribuir para a comunidade científica, a presente dissertação de mestrado
teve como objetivo principal aferir a perceção dos valores organizacionais da empresa pelos
colaboradores. O estudo de caso exploratório decorreu na Auchan Retail Portugal, uma
organização do setor do retalho que atravessa um período de transformação cultural, e que, por
esse motivo, adotou e definiu os valores: Confiança; Abertura; Excelência. A investigação foi
limitada às cinco lojas da região do Grande Porto. Neste estudo, para aferir a perceção dos
valores organizacionais da Auchan Retail, foi desenvolvido um inquérito por questionário
entendido como um instrumento de medição. O instrumento foi baseado na revisão de literatura, e
com construído com recurso aos seguintes instrumentos: Escala de Confiança do Empregado na
Organização (Oliveira, 2014); Minnesota Innovation Survey (A. H. Van de Ven et al., 2000). O
questionário foi administrado nas cinco lojas da organização numa amostra de 910 elementos ao
qual obtiveram-se 182 respostas. De acordo com os resultados obtidos, é possível afirmar que os
resultados indiciam a perceção dos valores da empresa pelos colaboradores.
The issue of organizational values has a very relevant role in the context of organizational culture. In an attempting to contribute to the study of the theme of organizational values, and to contribute to the scientific community, this master's dissertation had as main objective to assess the perception of the company's organizational values by employees. The exploratory case study took place at Auchan Retail Portugal, an organization in the retail sector that is going through a period of cultural transformation, and that for this reason, adopted and defined the values: Trust; Opening; Excellence. The investigation was limited to the five stores in the Porto region. In this study, to assess the perception of Auchan Retail's organizational values, a questionnaire survey was developed as a measuring instrument. The instrument was based in the literature review and built using the following instruments: Employee Trust Scale in the Organization (Oliveira, 2014); Minnesota Innovation Survey (A. H. Van de Ven et al., 2000). The questionnaire was administered in the organization's five stores in a sample of 910 elements to which 182 responses were obtained. According to the results obtained, it is possible to state that the results indicate that there is perception of the company's values by employees.
