Abstract(s)

In the current global and competitive market, the management of corporate intellectual capital is a necessity facing all human resources management directions and a fundamental aspect that determines their levels of competitiveness. In this sense, human resources policies must be aligned with the organizations strategy and must be designed and implemented in order to generate value for the company itself. The purpose of this study is to understand the importance that employees assign to the policies implemented by the organizations and in what sense this is reflected in their motivation and performance. In order to achieve this objective, a questionnaire was drawn up and sent to employees from various sectors of activity, large and small and medium-sized enterprises. Through the questionnaire, it was possible to analyze what motivates and demotivates employees in the organizational context. In addition, we analyzed which practices are most used by companies and which practices are most desired by employees. The findings of the study showed that although companies have diverse human resources management practices, employees are still not fully satisfied with the practices implemented.
