Today, there is currently the need for more medical systems to interconnect and share data. This systems only provide minimal output capabilities that cannot be well understood by more complex systems like a RIS or HIS. This dissertation attempts to solve this using a middleman system using both hardware and software to provide interconnection between these systems.
