The Covid-19 pandemic led countries to adopt restrictive measures to reduce physical contact and maintain social distance, as well the case with the mandatory lockdown imosed in Portugal, having been especially difficult for young people to cope with its repercussions on daily routines. Thus, this study aimed to understand portuguese adolescents’ perspectives on the impat of Covid-19 on their occupational participant during periods of confinement. Tem young people between the ages of 13 and 17 were recruited to participated in a semi-strctured interview where they shared their experience during confinementsand how these periods affected routines and relationships. The inetviews took place through digital platforms, namely Zoom Video Communications, in August 2021. Throughout the interviews, participants widely identifies the negative impact of the confinements on their participation, and it was perceived that, during these periods, they were in a state of occupational imbalance (With school overlapping with other occupations) and occupational deprivation (in terms of social participation and leisure group activities). Adolescents also seemed to associate these restrictons of occupational participation with a negative impact on their well-being and mental health.pt_PT
