Abstract(s)
The main aim of this study is to understand whether the organisational performanceof companies can be affected and optimised by organization’s leaders and whether they can have a significant impact on their subordinates feeling more satisfied with their own remote work. To this end, sought to provide a literary contextualisation of each key concept as well as to deepen the literature on leadership in an organisational context and relate it to teleworking; to understand the evolution of teleworking concepts and practice as a result of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic; to identify how job satisfaction and teleworking can be managed and, finally; to understand how organisational performance can be assessed and measured in an organisation. In this way we sought to analyse the effect of digital leadership on the different dimensions of organisational performance found in the literature, as well as on teleworking satisfaction. To this end, a quantative methodology was used, using an online questionnaire developed by the author, on the basis of varius studies defined in the literature and obtaining a sample of 112 participants. Tools such as IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 26 and Microsoft Excel were used to analyse the results to better understand the different dimensions and their relationships. Consequently, the results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between digital leadership and organizational performance and teleworking satisfaction, as well as between these two. In addition, there are also positive associations between the constructs. Based on the literature, it is recognized that the future trend will be to continue exploring the subject of digital leadership and teleworking.
