Abstract(s)
O objetivo desta dissertação de mestrado é investigar o papel da comédia na
formação e reforço do estereótipo português no contexto social e cultural de Espanha. O
estudo pretende analisar o impacto da comédia na perceção e representação da identidade
portuguesa, centrando-se na forma como as representações cómicas podem contribuir
para a perpetuação ou subversão de estereótipos culturais. Ao examinar a interação entre
comédia, atitudes sociais e dinâmicas culturais, esta pesquisa pretende fornecer uma
compreensão abrangente da influência da comédia no ambiente social e cultural
português.
O estudo será conduzido através da recolha de dados através de pesquisa e
entrevista que mostrarão o conceito de Estereótipos Portugueses através de comédias.
Serão também exploradas as suas opiniões e perceções sobre a forma como a comédia
reforça ou desafia os estereótipos portugueses, bem como o seu impacto na imagem de
Portugal e da sua cultura.
Adicionalmente, serão analisados exemplos específicos de comediantes
portugueses e espanhóis, examinando como as personagens e a cultura portuguesa são
retratadas nesses programas. Será dada atenção aos elementos cómicos utilizados, como
linguagem, estereótipos culturais e piadas relacionadas com Portugal.
Os resultados desta investigação procuram contribuir para uma perceção mais
profunda da influência da comédia nas atitudes sociais e dinâmicas culturais no contexto
português. Irá esclarecer como o reforço ou subversão dos estereótipos portugueses na
comédia afeta a perceção da identidade portuguesa e contribui para o ambiente social
tanto em Portugal como entre os espanhóis.
No geral, esta tese visa fornecer informações valiosas sobre a intrincada relação
entre a comédia, os estereótipos culturais e o ambiente social, focando especificamente
no contexto português observado pelos espanhóis.
The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate the role of comedy in shaping and reinforcing the Portuguese stereotype within the social and cultural context of Spain. The study aims to analyze the impact of comedy on the perception and representation of Portuguese identity, focusing on how comedic portrayals may contribute to the perpetuation or subversion of cultural stereotypes. Their opinions and perceptions regarding how comedy reinforces or challenges Portuguese stereotypes, as well as its impact on the image of Portugal and its culture, will also be explored. Additionally, specific examples of Portuguese and Spanish comedians will be analyzed, examining how Portuguese characters and culture are portrayed in these shows. Attention will be given to the comedic elements used, such as language, cultural stereotypes, and jokes related to Portugal. The findings of this research will contribute to a deeper understanding of the influence of comedy on social attitudes and cultural dynamics in the Portuguese context.
