Abstract(s)
O PROEJA é um programa que propõe a integração entre a educação básica e
a profission al, visando, além da certificação técnica, a elevação da
escolaridade, tendo como público alvo os jovens e adultos. No PROEJA, como
nas demais modalidades de ensino, o meio ambiente é tido como tema de
relevante valor social, devendo ser promovido de forma contínua,
permanente e integrado ao currículo escolar. Dessa forma objetivou-se
compreender como se concretiza a educação ambiental no âmbito da
educação e formação de jovens e adultos, em particular no Curso Técnico em
Vendas Integrado PROEJA do compus Santa Rosa/RS, abordando su as
concepções e práticas. Adotou-se uma abordagem mista, com aplicação de
questionários aos discentes e docentes do curso e também análise de
conteúdo do currículo e Projeto Ped agógico do Curso. Os documentos
institucionais preveem a formação de profission ais críticos, autônomos e
empreendedores, comprometidos com o desenvolvimento sustentável.
Observou-se que os discentes possuem compreensão limitada e fragmentada
d as questões ambientais. As atividades docentes são focadas nos conteúdos
d as disciplinas m antendo pouca ou nenhuma rel ação com a educação
ambiental. À vista disso, conclui-se que as atividades para a educação
ambiental não são contemplad as frequentemente, contrariando as
orientações estabelecidas pela legisl ação. Ademais, a compreensão d as
questões ambientais é também limitada e fragmentada por parte dos
docentes. Dessa forma, propõe-se capacitação aos docentes, discussões sobre
a inclusão da educação ambiental no currículo, organização de metodologias
para superação da abordagem linear e fragmentada dos conteúdos.
PROEJA is a program that proposes the integration between basic and professional education, aiming, in addition to the technical certification, the elevation of schooling, having as target group young people and adults. ln PROEJA, as in the other educational modalities, the environment is considered as a topic of relevant social value that should be promoted in a continuous, permanent and integrated way into the school curriculum. Therefore it was aimed to understand how environmental education takes place within the framework of education and qualification of young people and adults, in particular in the Technical Course in lntegrated Sales PROEJA in campus Santa Rosa/RS, addressing its conceptions and practices. A mixed approach was used, with application of questionnaires to students and teachers of the course and also content analysis of the curriculum and pedagogic project of the course. The institutional documents predict the formation of criticai professionals, independent and entrepreneurs committed to sustainable development. lt was observed that the students have limited and fragmented understanding of environmental issues. The teaching activities are focused in the contents of the subjects maintaining little or no relation to environmental education. The conclusion was that the activities for environmental education are not frequently contemplated, contrary to the guidelines laid down by the law. ln addition, the understanding of environmental issues is also limited and fragmented by the teachers. Therefore, it is proposed the training of the teachers, discussions on the inclusion of the environmental education in the curriculum, organization of methodologies for linear and fragmented approach of the subjects.
