Abstract(s)
El arte de interpretar música puede estar influenciada por el contexto cultural, el estilo personal del intérprete, la influencia histórica, las interpretaciones previas ya sean de otros o nuestras y también depende de la formación y la técnica que adquiera cada uno. Uno de los caminos que favorecen la formación musical es la investigación y la aplicación de los recursos adquiridos. Este proceso sistemático permite obtener nuevos conocimientos o validar y expandir los existentes. Para ello, es fundamental seguir diversas etapas, entre las cuales se incluyen la recopilación y el análisis de datos. En este estudio, se reunirán y examinarán datos sobre la interpretación musical, las influencias que han moldeado el estilo y el sonido del baterista Justin Brown. Englobado en el ámbito del jazz desde la segunda década del siglo XXI, este baterista se inserta en una corriente estilística emergente que presenta un enfoque innovador dentro del género. Su trabajo refleja una interpretación contemporánea del jazz, caracterizada por la fusión de diversas influencias y la exploración de nuevas sonoridades.

One of the ways that favor musical training is research and the application of the acquired resources. This systematic process makes it possible to obtain new knowledge or to validate and expand existing knowledge. To do so, it is essential to follow several steps, including data collection and analysis. In this study, data on the musical performance, influences that have shaped the style and sound of drummer Justin Brown will be gathered and examined. Embedded in the jazz scene since the second decade of the 21st century, this drummer is part of an emerging stylistic current that presents an innovative approach within the genre. Justin Brown's playing reflects a contemporary interpretation of jazz, characterized by the fusion of diverse influences and the exploration of new sonorities.
