O universo do ensino de Inglês no lº ciclo do Ensino Básico representa um te rreno fértil para a
construção das bases linguísticas e cognitivas das crianças. No âmbito desse contexto
educacional, a competência oral erige-se como um pilar essencial, exercendo influência
determinante no desenvolvimento linguístico e no processo de aprendizagem dos alunos.
Este relatório de estágio propõe uma imersão aprofundada na importância da oralidade no ensino
do Inglês, particularmente no cenário do lº ciclo do Ensino Básico. A pesquisa abordará a teoria
subjacente, e também examinará de forma crítica práticas pedagógicas e estratégias didáticas
empregadas por educadores, considerando os desafios específicos encontrados na promoção
eficaz da competência oral.
O objetivo não é apenas reconhecer a relevância intrínseca da oralidad e, mas também
compreender a forma como a sua valorização pode transformar o processo educativo. Além de
contribuir para o domínio linguístico, aprimorar a competência oral promove a confiança
comunicativa e instiga uma participação ativa e envolvente dos alunos no contexto educacional do
lº ciclo do Ensino Básico.
Ao explorar os matizes da oralidade neste estágio inicial da formação educac ion al, este relatório
aspira oferecer não apenas uma análise teórica, mas também perspetivas práticas para enriquecer
abordagens pedagógicas, visando aprimorar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem do Inglês e, por
conseguinte, o desenvolvimento integral dos estudantes.
