Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio tem como objetivo apresentar as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio curricular realizado na empresa We Translate On Time, no âmbito do Mestrado em Tradução e Interpretação Especializadas.
Ao longo do período de estágio, foram desempenhadas diversas tarefas de tradução e revisão de inúmeros documentos. Neste relatório, serão expostas algumas das dificuldades encontradas e o aprendizado adquirido durante essa experiência. Adicionalmente, tive a oportunidade de realizar uma interpretação de acompanhamento de português para inglês. O objetivo principal deste relatório é de detalhar e refletir sobre as tarefas realizadas durante o estágio, apresentando excertos das atividades desenvolvidas, expondo os problemas encontrados, bem como as soluções adotadas.
O enquadramento teórico deste trabalho abordará as disciplinas cursadas ao longo do mestrado que foram aplicadas durante o estágio, com destaque para a tradução jurídica, a tradução económica, a gestão de projetos de tradução e a interpretação de acompanhamento
Por fim, serão apresentadas as conclusões finais, que explicitarão os pontos positivos e negativos da experiência.
The purpose of this internship report is to present the activities carried out during the internship at We Translate On Time, as part of the Master's Degree in Specialised Translation and Interpreting. Over the course of the internship, I carried out a vast range of tasks, including translating and proofreading numerous documents. This report explains some of the difficulties encountered and the lessons learnt during this experience. In addition, I had the opportunity to undertake an accompanying interpretation from Portuguese into English. The main purpose of this report is to detail and reflect on the tasks carried out during the internship, presenting excerpts from the activities undertaken, exposing the problems encountered as well as the solutions adopted. The theoretical framework of this work will cover the subjects studied during the master's programme that were applied during the internship, with an emphasis on legal translation, economic translation, translation project management and accompanying interpretation Lastly, the final conclusions will be presented, explaining the positive and negative points of the experience.
