Abstract(s)
Este trabalho descreve os métodos utilizados na criação dos figurinos para a Ópera A Flauta Mágica. Inicia com a pesquisa documental sobre o meio operático, a Ópera A Flauta Mágica, e o encenador Peter Konwitschny. Na sequência é descrito o processo criativo, nas suas diferentes etapas, e o processo de trabalho do figurinista dentro da perspetiva projetual.
O trabalho final de mestrado apresenta-se aqui no modo PROJETO.
Este Projeto, integrado na Pós Graduação em Ópera e Estudos Musico-Teatrais da ESMAE, consubstanciou-se na realização de figurinos para a ópera de Mozart, A Flauta Mágica, com encenação de Peter Konwitschny. O espetáculo teve estreia no dia 27 de Julho de 2013, na sala do Coliseu do Porto.
A realização deste projeto articulou-se em duas fases: a primeira essencialmente orientada para uma pesquisa documental de forma a estudar e aprofundar os conhecimentos que contextualizam o universo operático e “A Flauta Mágica” em particular, e uma pesquisa acerca do trabalho de Peter Konwitschny, na tentativa de identificar algumas das características da sua encenação. A segunda, e em proximidade com o encenador, envolve todo o processo criativo. Partindo da dramaturgia que transparece na proposta do encenador, foram desenvolvidos figurinos no sentido de entender as suas intenções, para valorizar a ideia de encenação e a interpretação dos cantores.
This paper describes the methods used in creating the costumes for the opera The Magic Flute. Starts with documentary research on the operatic medium, the opera The Magic Flute, and director Peter Konwitschny. Following describes the creative process in its various stages, and the work process costume within the perspective projective The master's final work is presented here in order of PROJECT. This Project, integrated the Graduate in Opera and Music-Theatre Studies from ESMAE, embodied in the realization of costumes for Mozart's opera “The Magic Flute”, staged by Peter Konwitschny. The show premiered on July 27, 2013, in Oporto Coliseum. The realization of this project was articulated in two phases: the first focuses essentially on documentary research in order to study and deepen the knowledge that contextualize the operatic universe and "The Magic Flute" in particular, and a survey on the work of Peter Konwitschny, in an attempt to identify some of the characteristics of its staging. The second, and closely with the director, involves the entire creative process. Starting from the drama that transpires in the proposal of the director costumes were developed in order to understand their intentions, to value the idea of staging and interpretation of the singers.
