O presente relatório de estágio surge como o último requisito de satisfação
do grau de Mestre de Direção Hoteleira – Direção Comercial e Marketing. O
estágio encontra-se programado e definido no departamento Financeiro do The
Patio Suite Hotel e Eden Resort, entre novembro de 2022 e abril de 2023.
O departamento financeiro compreende um conjunto de características e
peculiaridades cruciais para satisfazer carências de primeira necessidade de uma
unidade hoteleira. A previsão, controlo, análise e decisões estratégicas são
metaforicamente caracterizadas como sinónimos do departamento, sendo um
alicerce fundamental para o bom desempenho operacional de qualquer
organização.
O principal objetivo do documento incide sob a comparação de literatura
lecionada e absorvida ao longo de um percurso académico, desta forma, o autor
procurar associar respetivas matérias com as tarefas e funções desempenhadas ao
longo do período de estadia.
Ao terminar o presente desafio, retrata-se efetivamente uma associação
entre a prática e a teoria, sendo aliada à contribuição clara de conhecimentos
profissionais essenciais para o desenvolvimento pessoal do estudante no âmbito e
campo financeiro.
This internship report is the final requirement for completing the Master's Degree in Hotel Management - Commercial Management and Marketing. The internship is scheduled and set in the finance department of The Patio Suite Hotel and Eden Resort between November 2022 and April 2023. The finance department comprises a set of characteristics and particularities that are crucial to the fulfilment of a hotel's basic needs. Forecasting, control, analysis and strategic decisions are metaphorically characterised as synonymous with the department, forming a fundamental basis for the good operational performance of any organisation. The main aim of the document is to compare the literature taught and absorbed over the course of an academic career, so the author endeavours to associate the respective subjects with the tasks and functions performed during his stay. At the end of this challenge, an association between practice and theory is effectively portrayed, together with the clear contribution of essential professional knowledge to the student's personal development in the financial area.
