Abstract(s)
O presente relatório espelha a experiência de co-construção do desenho e desenvolvimento do projeto realizado no âmbito do mestrado, em Educação e Intervenção Social, na especialização de Desenvolvimento Comunitário e Educação de Adultos. O projeto desenvolvido na Universidade Popular do Porto (UPP), adotou a metodologia da Investigação-ação participativa. A UPP, associação cultural que atua no âmbito da educação de adultos é uma associação fundada e movida pelos ideais da Revolução do 25 de abril, e é espaço de ação militante e de intervenção comunitária.
O projeto "Universidade Popular do Porto - Entre lutas e resistências pela democracia" foi possível graças à co-identificação de desafios, necessidades, recursos e potencialidades. A metodologia adotada envolveu a observação participante da dinâmica associativa e a escuta ativa das perceções dos vários participantes do contexto. Os principais objetivos do projeto centraram-se na potencialização da participação e comunicação entre os atores sociais, procurando contribuir para a concretização de espaços de autoavaliação pela associação. Consequentemente, o projeto proporcionou um percurso que, de forma gradual, fomentou a reflexão da associação sobre a sua missão e sobre si mesma, promovendo assim um recentramento nas prioridades da sua ação e incentivando a participação ativa dos membros nas dinâmicas associativas.
This report reflects the experience of co-constructing the design and development of the project carried out as part of the master's degree in "Educação e Intervenção Social", specialising in "Desenvolvimento Comunitário e Educação de Adultos". The project, carried out at the "Universidade Popular do Porto" (UPP), adopted the methodology of participatory action research. The UPP, a cultural association working in the field of adult education, was founded and driven by the ideais of the 25 April Revolution and is a space for militant action and community intervention. The project "Universidade Popular do Porto - Entre lutas e resistências pela democracia" was made possible thanks to the co-identification of challenges, needs, resources and potential. The methodology adopted involved participant observation of the associative dynamics and active listening to the perceptions of the various participants in the context. The project's main objectives are centered on boosting participation and communication between the social actors, seeking to contribute to the realization of spaces for self-evaluation by the association. Consequently, the project provided a path that gradually encouraged the association to reflect on its mission and on itself, thus promoting refocusing on the priorities of its action and encouraging the active participation of members in the associative dynamics.
