Abstract(s)
Este trabalho pretende ser uma reflexão sobre o processo de pesquisa e construção da Epopeia das Águas, uma tragicomédia elaborada a partir das memórias e vivências dos moradores da Travessa das Águas, no Porto.
Focar-se-á, sobretudo, nos três estágios do seu desenvolvimento, adiante designados por: Projeto, Processo e Progresso.
A Epopeia das Águas foi desenvolvida no âmbito do meu Mestrado em Artes Cénicas, especialização em Criação Teatral.
Trabalhando em contexto de companhia, com o Teatro da Palmilha Dentada, as minhas funções distribuiram-se pela escrita, dramaturgia, sonoplastia e música original, interpretação e encenação.
Iniciados os ensaios, e pesquisa, em janeiro de 2025, a estreia deu-se a 11 de setembro de 2025, cumprindo temporada no Lugar, até ao dia 5 de outubro do mesmo ano.
This work aims to be a reflection on the process of researching and constructing Epopeia das Águas, a tragicomedy based on the memories and experiences of the residents of Travessa das Águas, in Porto. It will focus, above all, on the three stages of its development, referred to, below, as: Project, Process and Progress. Epopeia das Águas was developed as part of my Master's degree in Performing Arts, specializing in Theater Creation. Working in a company context, with Teatro da Palmilha Dentada, my duties were divided between writing, dramaturgy, sound design and original music, acting and directing. Rehearsals and research began in january 2025, and the premiere took place on september 11th, 2025, with a season at Lugar lasting until october 5th of the same year.
