| dc.description.abstract | A indústria farmacêutica ocupa um lugar de grande destaque na economia global, não só devido às consequências que exerce na saúde e qualidade de vida da população, como também devido ao elevado grau de exigência em inovação e soluções tecnológicas. Um dos principais problemas deste setor consiste em garantir a integridade e segurança da cadeia de distribuição de fármacos. A indústria 4.0, também conhecida como Quarta Revolução Industrial, trouxe uma grande evolução tecnológica que se refletiu, entre outros setores, na indústria farmacêutica. Apesar de já existirem soluções no mercado, inclusive com a utilização da Blockchain com o objetivo de diminuir este problema, a verdade é que os últimos dados têm demonstrado que ainda existem problemas neste setor. Neste documento será realizado um estudo das tecnologias já existentes e apresentada uma solução com o objetivo de tentar combater os problemas de falsificação de fármacos existentes, através de um novo tipo de sistema que consiga controlar todo o percurso de um produto farmacêutico desde o registo da sua encomenda até ser entregue ao consumidor. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The pharmaceutical industry occupies a prominent place in the global economy, not only because of the consequences it has on the health and quality of life of the population, but also because of the high level of demand for innovation and technological solutions. One of the main problems in this sector is to guarantee the integrity and safety of the drug distribution chain. Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, brought a great technological evolution that was reflected, among other sectors, in the pharmaceutical industry. Although there are already solutions on the market, including the use of Blockchain with the aim of reducing this problem, the truth is that the latest data has shown that there are still problems in this sector. In this document, a study of existing technologies will be carried out and a solution will be presented with the aim of trying to combat existing problems about falsification of pharmaceuticals through a new type of system that can control the journey of the medicine from its order until it is delivered to the consumer. | pt_PT |
