Como se comporta o Corpo durante a Performance Vocal? Quais são os pontos a ter em consideração antes e
durante a Performance? Como se relacionam as diferentes dimensões do corpo? Quais são as maiores dificuldades que se apresentam? Como se pode vencê-las?
Através da análise de textos sobre performance e interpretação, bem como de alguns registos do processo de
estudo e preparação para o Recital Final deste Mestrado, a presente investigação reúne informação sobre a relação corpo-mente, emoção-movimento, desinibição, intenção e energia.
Passando da música medieval, à ópera romântica e à música contemporânea, identificam-se pontos comuns e
contrastes entre a fisicalidade e interpretação das diferentes peças vocais, bem como reflexões sobre como as trazer a palco – com exercícios e dicas práticas.
How does the Body behave during vocal Performance? What should be considered before and during Performance? In what manner do the different dimensions of the Body relate? Which are the biggest obstacles that present themselves during this process? How can they be overcome? This investigation gathers information about the relationship between body-mind, emotion-movement, disinhibition, intention and energy, through the analysis of several performance and interpretation/acting texts as well as some records of the study process and preparation for this Master’s Degree Final Recital. With the help of practical exercises and tips, the paper finds common ground but also contrasts between the physicality and the interpretation in vocal repertoire moving from medieval music to romantic opera and contemporary music – and how to bring this performance to life.
