Abstract(s)
Este projeto tem como objetivo o estudo da performance do Concerto para piano e orquestra em Sol Maior do compositor Maurice Ravel, através da memória descritiva da interpretação da obra nas suas diversas valências.
Considerando a problemática das escolas pianísticas europeias (Lourenço, 2007), serão analisados aspetos técnicos que possam refletir a influência dessas escolas na interpretação e performance da obra. Seguindo um design metodológico de análise qualitativa, este trabalho vai consistir num estudo comparativo de gravações por pianistas de excelência, que defendem relevantes versões fonográficas do Concerto para piano e orquestra em Sol Maior de Maurice Ravel.
As conclusões apontam para a constatação da assertividade e presença da escola francesa no que diz respeito à interpretação da obra em estudo, mas também para a diversidade artística nas interpretações por diferentes pianistas, os quais demonstram uma abordagem de grande profundidade musical e notável destreza técnica.

Considering the problematic of the European piano schools (Lourenço, 2007), technical aspects that may reflect the influence of these schools on the interpretation and performance of the work will be analyzed. Following a methodological design of qualitative analysis, this work will consist of a comparative study of recordings by excellent pianists, who defend relevant phonographic versions of the Concerto for piano and orchestra in G major by Maurice Ravel. The conclusions point to the assertiveness and presence of the French school with regard to the interpretation of the work under study, but also to the artistic diversity in the interpretations by different pianists, who demonstrate an approach of great musical depth and remarkable technical dexterity.
