A comunicação assume atualmente uma importância estratégica na gestão das organizações. No âmbito interno, ultrapassa o conceito de mero processo de transmissão de mensagem, através de um canal específico e compreensão mútua entre os interlocutores, para assumir papel preponderante no incremento da credibilidade dos seus funcionários: imagem, identidade e cultura organizacional são influenciadas diretamente pela boa ou má comunicação interna. O público interno, como primeiro público de toda organização, será o seu porta-voz, de forma negativa ou positiva, no âmbito familiar, social e profissional. A pesquisa delimitou como tema a comunicação interna de uma organização, centrando-se numa função especializada, com o objetivo global de providenciar um diagnóstico atual, dificuldades existentes e oportunidades de melhoria. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa foi o estudo de caso com a análise dos dados através da abordagem quanti-qualitativa. A obtenção dos dados deu-se por meio de questionário, elaborado com perguntas semiestruturadas, aplicado às Chefias de Gabinete dos treze Câmpus do IFG e Reitoria. Esta investigação permitiu compreender a importância da comunicação interna na produtividade e eficácia na consecução dos objetivos organizacionais, bem como apontar a avaliação dos canais, fluxos, meios de comunicação interna, barreiras e oportunidades de melhoria que os chefes de gabinete concebem para o IFG, e compreender a imagem que eles têm do IFG, com relação aos fluxos e processos de comunicação interna.
Communication is of strategic importance in the management of organizations. At the internal level, it goes beyond the concept of a mere process of message transmission, through a specific channel and mutual understanding among the interlocutors, to assume a preponderant role in increasing the credibility of its employees: image, identity and organizational culture are influenced directly by the good or poor internal communication. The internal public, as the first public of every organization, will be its spokesperson, in a negative or positive way, in the family, social and professional sphere. The research delimited as the subject the internal communication of an organization, focusing on a specialized function, with the overall objective of providing a current diagnosis, existing difficulties and opportunities for improvement. The methodology used in the research was the case study with data analysis through the quantitative-qualitative approach. The data was obtained through a questionnaire, elaborated with semi-structured questions, applied to the Cabinet Chiefs of the thirteen Campuses of the IFG and Rectory. This research allowed us to understand the importance of internal communication in productivity and effectiveness in achieving the organizational objectives, as well as to assess the channels, flows, internal communication means, barriers and opportunities for improvement that heads of the cabinet design for the IFG, and understand the image they have of the IFG in relation to internal communication flows and processes.
