Abstract(s)
Esta dissertação investiga o tema da igualdade de género no contexto das
organizações modernas, analisando o seu impacto, desafios e implicações para as
empresas e os seus colaboradores. Examina as razões pelas quais a igualdade de género
é uma prioridade cada vez mais relevante para as organizações, destacando os
benefícios tangíveis e intangíveis que resultam na promoção de um ambiente de
trabalho igualitário e na diminuição do GAP.
Ao longo desta dissertação, são exploradas as barreiras e obstáculos que ainda
persistem no caminho da igualdade de género nas empresas, bem como as estratégias e
as práticas recomendadas para superar estes desafios.
Além disso, este trabalho considera a importância dos órgãos de gestão e a
participação de todos os colaboradores no avanço da igualdade de género, examinando
estudos de caso e exemplos reais.
Por fim, esta pesquisa enfatiza a relevância da igualdade de género não apenas
para o progresso social, mas também para o desempenho e a sustentabilidade das
organizações. Ao fazer isso, esta dissertação contribui para uma compreensão mais
profunda da importância da igualdade de género nas instituições e o seu impacto
positivo no mundo empresarial e na sociedade em geral
This dissertation investigates the topic of gender equality in the context of modern organizations, analyzing it’s impact, challenges and implications for companies and their employees. It examines in depth the reasons why gender quality is na increasingly relevant priority for organizations, highlighting the tangible and intangible benefits that result in promoting na egalitarian work enviroment and reducind the GAP. Throughout this dissertation, the barriers and obstacles that still persist on the path to gender equality in companies are explored, as well as the strategies and recommended practices to overcome these challenges. Additionally, this work considers the importance of management bodies and the participation of all employees in advancing gender equality, examining case studies and real examples. Finally, this research emphasizes the relevance of gender equality not only for social progress, but also for the performance and sustainability of organizations. In doing so, this dissertation contributes to a deeper understanding of the importance of gender equality in institutions and it’s positive impact on the business world and society in general.
