Abstract(s)
O meio ambiente é a fonte da sustentação das pessoas que, nesse contexto, precisam
entender tal aspecto. Visivelmente, a educação é a melhor maneira de envolver a sociedade
escolar para fins de preservação e sustentabilidade, com o objetivo de informá-la e
demonstrar situações reais em relação ao assunto. O objetivo deste estudo é salientar os
procedimentos adotados pelo IFG quanto aos requisitos do meio ambiente, em que existem
pontos a serem trabalhados e melhorados, visando ao maior comprometimento da instituição
com o meio ambiente. A partir disso, Alunos e Servidores puderam relatar a abordagem de
assuntos referentes a meio ambiente, preservação, coleta seletiva etc., de modo a auxiliá-los,
direcioná-los e ampará-los na educação ambiental para repensar ações, promover uma gestão
pautada na sustentabilidade de forma consciente e buscar melhorias voltadas à sociedade.
Diante disso, a realização desta pesquisa apresentou satisfatória aceitação pelos
entrevistados, apesar da descrença de alguns em respondê-la. No decorrer da investigação
que estava sendo realizada com a comunidade escolar do Instituto Federal de Goiás –
Campus Jataí (IFG-CJ) foi percebido que a escola é um importante aspecto nesse cenário.
Convém enfatizar que a preservação do meio ambiente e dos recursos é a melhor forma de
manter a vida no planeta.
The environment is the source of the support of people who, in this context, need to understand this aspect. Visibly, education is the best way to involve the school society for the purpose of preservation and sustainability, in order to inform and demonstrate real situations in relation to the subject. The objective of this study is to highlight the procedures adopted by the IFG regarding the requirements of the environment, in which there are points to be worked and improved, aiming at the greater commitment of the institution with the environment. From this, students and employees were able to report the approach of subjects related to the environment, preservation, selective collection, etc., in order to assist them, direct them and support them in environmental education to rethink actions, promote a guided management on sustainability in a conscious way and seek improvements aimed at society in general. Given this, the accomplishment of this research presented satisfactory acceptance by the interviewees, despite the disbelief of some in answering it. In the course of the investigation that was being carried out with the school community of the Federal Institute of Goiás – Campus Jataí (IFG-CJ), it was perceived that the school is an important aspect in this scenario. It should be emphasized that preserving the environment and resources is the best way to maintain life on the planet.
