O Relatório de Curso realizado no 2º ano do Mestrado do curso de Engenharia de Computação e Instrumentação Médica do Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto em que assenta este trabalho foi concretizado no Hospital Pedro Hispano da Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos (ULSM). O trabalho realizado consistiu na internalização da Manutenção Preventiva aos equipamentos existentes na Medicina Física e Reabilitação do Hospital Pedro Hispano da ULSM, E. P. E. É descrito o procedimento levado a cabo para a atualização do inventário dos equipamentos existentes na Medicina Física e Reabilitação. É, ainda, feito o estudo e a análise das normas aplicadas aos equipamentos médicos, bem como, dos manuais do fabricante desses equipamentos de forma a criar um procedimento de verificação preventiva a ser aplicado internamente na unidade pela equipa de electromedicina e, por fim, proceder à sua implementação.
