| dc.description.abstract | Terra do Silêncio é sobre gente da terra, sobre fragmentos de memórias que sobreviveram ao esquecimento do tempo. É uma viagem pelos cheiros, sabores, texturas e tradições madeirenses que sobrevivem ainda nas zonas mais rurais e inaudíveis. É um apontamento de uma pesquisa de como se vivia em outros tempos, com os mesmos cantares, mas com outras gentes, que fazem agora parte da (minha) história madeirense. Parto da vontade de deixar escrito uma cultura rica no seu imaginário popular e criativa na sua sobrevivência, enquanto povo que muita dificuldade viveu. É um trabalho que resultou na criação de uma peça coreográfica, levando a palco todo o pensamento sobre os três principais territórios: geográficos, físicos e materiais. É sobre fotografias paradas no tempo, é sobre o tempo atual com revisão do passado. É sobre o real e o mundo do fantástico. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Land of Silence is about people of the earth, about fragments of memories that have survived the oblivion of time. It is a journey through the smells, flavors, textures and Madeiran traditions that still survive in the most rural and inaudible areas. It is a note of a research of how one lived in other times, with the same songs, but with other people, who are now part of (my) Madeiran history. I start from the desire to leave written a culture rich in its popular imagination and creative in its survival, as a people that lived a lot of difficulty. It is a work that resulted in the creation of a choreographic piece, taking to the stage all the thinking about the three main territories: geographical, physical and material. It's about photographs stopped in time, it's about the current time with revision of the past. It's about the real and the world of the fantastic. | pt_PT |
