O presente trabalho consiste na recriação de um concerto privado numa casa da burguesia abastada da cidade do Porto, no final do século XVIII e início do século XIX. É feita uma contextualização das práticas de música doméstica que aconteciam em várias cidades europeias e em Lisboa, com o objectivo de estabelecer padrões no que diz respeito a locais, contextos e repertório. Foi ainda efectuado um levantamento do repertório operático e instrumental que era ouvido e tocado na cidade do Porto, de forma a fazer uma recriação do evento tão filológica quanto possível.
This paper is the recreation of a private concert held at the house of a rich bourgeoisie family from the city of Porto, in the end of the eighteenth century and beginning of the nineteenth century. It contains a contextualization of the practices of domestic music that were taking place in several European cities and in Lisbon, with the objective of establishing patterns concerning places, contexts and repertoire. A research was also conducted about the operatic and instrumental repertoire that was made in the city of Porto, in order to recreate the event in the most philological way possible.
