Abstract(s)
A presente proposta de projeto tem como objetivo demonstrar que existem
alternativas às zonas turísticas mais saturadas no concelho de Vila Nova de Gaia, não
ignorando e fazendo questão de salientar os competidores e os colaboradores para o
desenvolvimento turístico do norte de Portugal.
A saturação dos destinos turísticos é uma realidade cada vez mais presente nos
dias de hoje.
Este projeto irá apresentar propostas de resolução e melhoria para os problemas
que esta saturação acarreta para o destino turístico, na perspetiva dos turistas e dos
residentes. Nesse sentido, explorando os recursos que as periferias dos grandes destinos
turísticos possuem, serão analisadas e propostas novas medidas que previnam o fluxo
exagerado de turistas num local específico (neste caso, aplicado ao concelho de Vila
Nova de Gaia), fornecendo rotas e destinos turísticos alternativos aos grandes centros
visitados pela maioria dos turistas. O aumento da acessibilidade a todas as zonas de Vila
Nova de Gaia será o principal foco deste projeto, garantindo a mobilidade dentro do destino.
This project aims to demonstrate that there are alternatives to more saturated tourist areas in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, highlighting competitors and employees for tourism development in northern region of Portugal. The saturation of tourism destinations is an increasing reality nowadays. This project will present proposals for the resolution and solutions improvement regarding the problems that this saturation brings to the tourism destination, from the perspective of tourists and residents. In this sense, exploring the resources that the peripheries of major tourism destinations have, will be analyzed and proposed new measures to prevent the excessive flow of tourists in a specific location (in this case, applied to the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia), providing routes and alternative tourism destinations to the major centers visited by most tourists. Increasing accessibility to all areas of Vila Nova de Gaia will be the focus of this project, ensuring mobility within the destination.
