Abstract(s)
Este documento tem como objetivo apresentar o trabalho realizado durante o estágio
curricular, integrado na unidade curricular de Dissertação/Projeto/Estágio (DIPRE), do 2.º ano
do Mestrado em Engenharia Civil, com especialização em Estruturas, do Instituto Superior de
Engenharia do Porto. O estágio, com a duração aproximada de cinco meses, foi realizado na
empresa Core Concept, onde a estudante teve a oportunidade de participar e desenvolver
projetos de estruturas. Durante este período, adquiriu novos conhecimentos, aprofundou o uso
de softwares já seus conhecidos, aprendeu novos métodos de trabalho e consolidou o
conhecimento adquirido ao longo da sua formação académica.
O relatório inicia-se com uma breve introdução, na qual são apresentados os objetivos e a
estrutura do documento. Em seguida, é apresentada a empresa de acolhimento, as funções
desempenhadas pela autora, os softwares utilizados e uma descrição geral dos projetos
estruturais. Nos dois capítulos subsequentes, são apresentados dois casos de estudo: o
primeiro, relativo ao projeto estrutural de uma habitação unifamiliar contendo diferentes
materiais; o segundo, referente ao projeto estrutural de um anexo de uma habitação,
especificamente o dimensionamento das paredes e da laje de uma piscina elevada. Por fim, são
apresentadas as considerações finais sobre o trabalho desenvolvido.
This document aims to present the work carried out during the curricular internship, as part of the Dissertation/Project/Internship (DIPRE) course unit, in the second year of the Master’s in Civil Engineering, specialising in Structures, at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. The internship, which lasted approximately five months, was undertaken at Core Concept, where the student could participate in and develop structural projects. During this period, new knowledge was acquired, familiar software was further explored, new working methods were learned and the knowledge gained throughout the academic journey was consolidated. The report begins with a brief introduction, in which the objectives and structure of the document are presented. Following this, the host company is introduced, along with a description of the roles performed by the author, the software used, and a general overview of the structural projects. The next two chapters present two case studies: the first relates to the structural design of a single-family house using different materials; the second concerns the structural design of an annex to a house, specifically the design of the walls and slab for an elevated swimming pool. Finally, the document concludes with final considerations on the work carried out.
