Abstract(s)
O presente relatório refere-se a um período de estágio profissional efectuado durante quatro meses na Produtora de Televisão Valentim de Carvalho, inserido no programa curricular do Mestrado de Comunicação Audiovisual, especialização Produção e Realização, da ESMAE, Escola Superior de Música, Artes e Espectáculo do Instituto Politécnico do Porto. Durante esse período estagiei na produção do programa “Só Visto!”, uma magazine semanal de actualidade, com emissão no canal público de televisão, RTP – Rádio e Televisão de Portugal. Foi o meu objectivo efectuar um estágio curricular, em detrimento de um projecto audiovisual, por considerar de extrema necessidade e importância, para o meu futuro profissional, uma abordagem e aproximação à realidade de funcionamento de uma produtora de televisão. São aqui relatados uma breve caracterização da empresa, o contexto do estágio dentro do funcionamento dessa mesma empresa e uma pormenorizada caracterização do produto audiovisual específico em causa.
Perante o alinhamento do programa e caracterização de cada uma das rubricas que o compõem, foi-me possível acompanhar as várias fases de produção, desde a pré-produção, à entrega e emissão do produto final. Assim sendo, julgo ter conseguido adquirir os conhecimentos a que me propus de início e obtido a experiência necessária a complementar a formação curricular.
This report refers to a period of professional internship which took place for four months at the Valentim de Carvalho Television Producer, within the frame of the curricular program of the Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication, in the Production and Direction branch of specialization, at ESMAE, Escola Superior de Música, Artes e Espectáculo do Instituto Politécnico do Porto. During this time I was a production intern on the program “Só Visto!”, a weekly current events review, broadcasted on the public television network RTP – Rádio e Televisão de Portugal. My goal was to undertake a curricular internship, as opposed to an audiovisual project, as I consider that it is of utter necessity and importance to my professional future to experience an approach to the reality of the functioning of a television producer. I detail here a brief description of the company, the context of the internship within the functioning of that same company and an at-length description of the specific audiovisual product at stake. In face of the program’s line-up and the make-up of each of the segments that compose it, it was possible for me to accompany the different stages of production, from pre-production to delivery and broadcasting of the final product. Thus, I believe I have been able to acquire the knowledge which I proposed to obtain at first and gained the necessary experience to complement my curricular education.
