| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho resulta do projeto de localização de Stellar Wanderer, um simulador espacial disponível para Android e iOS, para português europeu, no âmbito do mestrado em Tradução e Interpretação Especializadas. Inicialmente, contextualiza-se a indústria da localização, referindo a sua evolução, os seus processos e a sua importância na construção de um mundo mais global. De seguida, aborda-se a sua importância num dos mercados com maior crescimento em todo o mundo: o dos videojogos. A parte final deste relatório relata o projeto prático da localização do videojogo, onde se pretende ilustrar as características e as dificuldades presentes num projeto de localização através de uma componente prática. Deste projeto, resultou a publicação do jogo em português europeu. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This report is the result of the localization project of Stellar Wanderer, a space simulator available for Android and iOS, from English to European Portuguese, within the scope of the Master's degree in Specialized Translation and Interpreting. Initially, we contextualize the localization industry, meantioning its evolution, its processes and how important it is in building a more global world. Then, we focus on its importance regarding its connection to one of the fastest growing markets in the world: the video games market. The final part of this report intends to describe the practical project of the game’s localization, illustrating all the characteristics and difficulties present in a project of this area, through a practical approach. This project resulted in the publication of the game in the European Portuguese language. | pt_PT |
