Abstract(s)
This dissertation proposes the development and feasibility assessment of KIS – Keep It Safe, a digital security device designed to address the growing challenges of cybersecurity, with a focus on biometric authentication, access management, and cryptoasset protection and its respective business model. The motivation stems from the need for reliable, intuitive, and effective solutions in response to increasing digital threats and the inherent weaknesses of traditional authentication methods. KIS combines several security technologies into a single hardware device, including military-grade encryption, a high-precision fingerprint sensor, and versatile connectivity. It incorporates optimized firmware, integration with multifactor authentication protocols, and both local and cloud-based backup functionalities, ensuring compatibility with major operating systems and enterprise infrastructures. The practical component of the work is developed through the construction of a comprehensive business model and plan, which include market analysis, value proposition, B2B and B2C customer segmentation, competitive benchmarking, commercial strategy, distribution channels, cost structure, and five-year financial projections. It is concluded that KIS and his business plan offers an innovative, scalable, and sustainable solution, with high potential for adoption in both national and international markets. Its unique value proposition — combining security, usability, and technological integration — may position it as a benchmark in the field of personal and corporate digital security.
