Abstract(s)

If, on the one hand, there has been a large investment by organizations for the use of digital, believing it to be indispensable to guarantee competitive advantage, on the other hand, there has also been an investment in the training of professionals for an easy and natural adaptation to the market’s requirements. In this context, the skills that companies are currently looking for, have changed to respond to an increasingly fast and technological market. Hence, training professionals with the necessary skills to respond to the business and generate value, becomes essential for the survival and consequent development of a company. This study aims to understand the impact of digital transformations, about the skills and functional profiles that companies look for in the digital age to respond to challenges and opportunities. To this end, eleven interviews were conducted with Human Resources professionals on the digital transformations driven by the 4th industrial revolution, changes and difficulties, and the impact of the 4.0 revolution on the functional profiles in organizations. The results obtained show that the traditional way of working has changed to a digital aspect, with new work and team’s dynamics. This has led companies to define strategies for adapting to a changing world. It is possible to conclude that the competencies sought by the organizations also changed and started to be oriented towards a digital and technological aspect, however, with prevalence of Soft Skills.
