A luz abraça os espaços e estórias, da mesma forma que consegue Vincar as
“auras” das personagens envolvidas, transformando a atmosfera ao longo da narrativa.
Não só a construção da iluminação é um elemento-chave, mas também a cor é um
grande complemento da estimulação Visual e estética que define um filme.
Este ensaio propõe-se a explorar a modelação estilística e narrativa da
iluminação e a forma como alcançar o propósito idealizado. Também tem como objetivo
salientar o processo de estudo e execução utilizado na Direção de Fotografia da curta-metragem de ficção Sem Sinal, com especial foco no uso da iluminação para a criação de
uma dimensão emocional e Visual, utilizando, posteriormente, o trabalho de colorista
para oferecer o efeito dramático pretendido.
O objetivo, durante o percurso deste estudo, passa por retratar as intenções,
usando referências e técnicas que serão aplicadas no caso prático, acrescentando a
análise do resultado obtido.

Not only is the construction of lighting a key element, but color is also a great complement of visual and aesthetic stimulation that defines a film. This essay sets out to explore the stylistic and narrative modeling of lighting and how to achieve the idealized purpose. It also aims to highlight the study and execution process used in the Cinematography of the short fiction film Sem Sinal, With a special focus on the use of lighting to create an emotional and visual dimension, subsequently using the work of a colorist to offer the intended dramatic effect. The objective throughout this study is to portray what I intend, using references and techniques that will be applied in the practical case, adding the analysis of the results obtained.
