Este ensaio pretende abordar questões pertinentes no processo visual de um filme, nomeadamente na direção de fotografia e, consequentemente, no trabalho de colorista. A iluminação veio aumentar o efeito dramático no mundo da ficção cinematográfica, permitindo uma maior manipulação dos próprios ambientes e personagens. A paleta cromática, por sua vez, também pode ser usada de maneiras específicas para indicar significados ou reações específicas; as cores podem oferecer um clima / estilo / visual / tema para um filme inteiro. Aplicamos estes conceitos teóricos ao projeto “A Lenda do Galo” e analisamos as falhas cometidas durante o mesmo, seja na rodagem ou na pós-produção.
This essay intends to discuss pertinent questions in the visual process of a film, namely in the cinematography and, consequently, in the colorist work. Lighting has increased the dramatic effect in the world of cinematic fiction, allowing greater manipulation of the environments and characters themselves. Colors, in turn, can be used in specific ways to indicate a specific subject; they can provide a mood / style / visual / theme for an entire movie. We apply these theoretical concepts to the project “A Lenda do Galo” and analyze the failures committed during the project, whether in shooting or post production.
