Um Sistema de Informação permite armazenar, organizar e estruturar dados de forma a auxiliar as organizações a responder às suas necessidades, melhorando a capacidade de resposta às diversas questões que surgem diariamente. Além disso, auxilia as empresas na organização e análise de dados, com o intuito de fornecer informação útil na altura correta, para que possa ser utilizada na tomada de decisões e no desenvolvimento estratégico de negócio.
O trabalho desta dissertação centra-se no desenho, construção e implementação de um Sistema de Informação capaz de realizar a gestão de equipamentos da Central de Ciclo Combinado da Tapada do Outeiro tendo sido desenvolvido em JAVA e SQL.
O projeto envolveu diversas fases, entre as quais, o levantamento e análise de requisitos e o studo do método utilizado na gestão do armazém de equipamentos até então. Desta forma,
o desenvolvimento do novo sistema focou-se na resolução das deficiências do anterior istema e a na introdução de novos requisitos impostos pela própria organização. Para tal, foi criada uma base de dados para suportar toda a informação envolvida e desenvolvido um sistema de login com gestão de sessões individuais de utilizadores. Foram também implementadas as funcionalidades de introdução, abate, registo de movimentações, inspeções e reparações dos equipamentos.
Relativamente à identificação dos equipamentos e dos utilizadores, foi utilizado o sistema de código de barras na codificação CODE128, com o auxílio de dois leitores óticos, um fixo ara os utilizadores iniciarem a sessão de trabalho e um leitor portátil para fazer as leituras dos equipamentos sem a necessidade de os deslocar.
Atualmente, a aplicação encontra-se alojada no servidor interno da organização, permitindo a consulta de informação de forma clara e rápida, reduzindo o tempo despendido pelos colaboradores na realização das suas tarefas. Com este sistema a empresa passou a usufruir de um sistema de gestão integrado capaz de ajudar a gestão no controlo do stock de equipamentos sendo possível em qualquer momento conhecer o estado do armazém.
An information system allows you to store, to organize and structure data in order to help organizations to meet their needs, improving responsiveness to the various issues that arise daily. In addition, it helps companies in organizing and analyse data in order to provide useful information at the correct time, so it can be used in decision-making and strategic business development. The presented project focuses on the design, construction and implementation of an Information System capable of performing the management of equipment at the Combined ycle Power Plant Tapada do Outeiro. The IS was developed in JAVA and uses SQL databases. For the application development, a survey was carried out, an analysis of requirements and the method used in the warehouse for management of equipment was studied. Thus, the development of the new system has the focus on the resolution of the deficiencies of the previous system and new requirements introduce by the organization. To this end, a database capable of supporting all the software needs was created and a login system was developed with individual session management of users and their respective access. It also implements the features of introduction, abate, register transactions, inspections and repairs of the equipment present in the database. For the identification of devices and users, barcode on CODE128 coding was used, with the aid of two optical readers, a fixed reader that is normally used by users to login to their session easily and a portable reader, which is used to read the equipment barcode ids without the need to move them. The application is hosted on the internal server of the organization, and it can be accessed from any computer connected to the same network, allowing for consultation of information clearly and quickly, reducing the time spent by employees performing these tasks. The implementation of this system allows the company to benefit of an integrated management system to help and control the management of equipment. It also allows users at any time to be aware of the availability of equipment.
