organizacional.
This dissertation analyzes, through a case study, the practices of Information Management, Infocommunication, and Knowledge Management in a non-food retail organization. The main objective was to understand how Information Management impacts the Infocommunication process and the sharing of organizational knowledge. The methodology combined the use of a questionnaire administered to employees, semi-structured interviews with members of the leadership — namely the Administrator, the Commercial Director, and the Northern Operations Director of the company in question — as well as observation and documentary research. This combination made it possible to collect complementary quantitative and qualitative data. The results reveal the existence of relevant initiatives for the collection, sharing, and enhancement of information and knowledge, although these are characterized by fragmented information processes. It was found that there is a need for greater formalization, interdepartmental integration, and strategic alignment of informational practices to optimize the use of informational and intellectual resources. It is also concluded that an integrated approach to these three dimensions is essential for organizational competitiveness and that the adoption of structured policies can amplify the benefits within the organization.
