Abstract(s)
The aim of this paper is to analyse the facto union in the Portuguese and Angolan legal system, that is, in the comparative legal regime, taking into account in general its legal protection. We proposed briefly to understand what are the convictions, social and cultural principles that motivate the systems under study, to characterize and contemplate it in a different way. In Angola, there are many more people in de facto unions than married, for reasons of culture, tradition and economic reasons. In Angola, there are many more people in de facto unions than married, for reasons of culture, tradition and economic reasons. In Portugal, the reality is different, this phenomenon of de facto union has become more visible socially in recent years. In conclusion, when societies are different they will necessarily give different solutions to problems of the same nature.
