Abstract(s)
Throughout their musical school career, students are faced with situations where they feel dependent on their teacher, unmotivated and alone in the school and musical environment. This work addresses supervised teaching practice, within the scope of the Master’s Degree in Music Teaching and suggests a new concept of group classes – Violin Workshop and Performance Class. This concept of group classes aims to promote collaborative learning for the purposes of personal emancipation, in other words, promoting critical thinking, motivation and autonomy.
