Este projeto visa a digitalização e melhoria do processo de requisição de serviços num
laboratório de metrologia, até então caracterizado por uma gestão informal, descentralizada e
pouco padronizada. Esta realidade originava falhas significativas ao nível da rastreabilidade dos
pedidos, da previsibilidade dos prazos de execução e da eficiência na alocação de recursos.
Face a este contexto, foi desenvolvida uma aplicação em Microsoft Power Apps®, cuja escolha
se justificou pela rapidez de desenvolvimento, integração nativa com ferramentas amplamente utilizadas na organização (SharePoint, Planner, Teams) e pela possibilidade de criação de soluções por utilizadores sem conhecimentos avançados de programação.
A metodologia de investigação-ação permitiu o envolvimento direto dos utilizadores em todas as fases do projeto: levantamento de requisitos, modelação dos processos e validação da solução. A aplicação concebida permite a submissão normalizada dos pedidos, o cálculo automático do tempo estimado com base em critérios técnicos objetivos e o acompanhamento em tempo real do estado de cada requisição.
A digitalização do processo resultou em melhorias claras na padronização, rastreabilidade e fiabilidade da informação, proporcionando uma gestão mais eficaz da carga de trabalho e um planeamento mais rigoroso. O projeto evidencia o potencial das plataformas Low-Code na transformação digital de contextos técnicos especializados.
This project focuses on improving and digitalizing the service request process in a metrology laboratory, which had previously been characterized by informal, decentralized, and poorly standardized management. This situation led to significant issues in traceability of requests, predictability of execution timelines, and efficiency in resource allocation. In response to this context, an application was developed using Microsoft Power Apps®. This choice was justified by the speed of development, native integration with widely used organizational tools (SharePoint, Planner, Teams), and the possibility for users without advanced programming skills to create solutions. The action-research methodology enabled direct involvement of users in all project phases: requirements gathering, process modelling, and solution validation. The resulting application allows for standardized submission of requests, automatic calculation of estimated time based on objective technical criteria, and real-time tracking of each request's status. Digitizing the process has led to clear improvements in standardization, traceability, and information reliability, enabling more effective workload management and more rigorous planning. The project highlights the potential of Low-Code platforms in the digital transformation of specialized technical environments.
