Abstract(s)
This report is part of the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice, which is part of the study plan of the Master's Degree in Teaching 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education. This document, in addition to enabling the teaching in the mentioned areas, seeks to reflect the action and reflection accomplished by the master's degree during the last year of the master's degree, as well as to highlight the theoretical and legal assumptions that support this action. In order to walk in a constructive and meaningful practice-action research became the basis of the work done by the master's student, and it is imperative to go through the four phases underlying this methodology: observation, planning, action and reflection. It should also be pointed out that the supervision cycle, as well as the interaction between all those involved in this process, has contributed to the personal and professional development of the master student, making her more critical of her options. The moments of reflection, being constant, provided the acquisition of new knowledge that complemented the master's action, regarding implementation of regencies, dynamization of activities and realization of the investigation carried out in context, where the Space Visualization became the focus of the study. Supervised Teaching Practice, by allowing contact with different scenarios and challenges, led the master student to note that teacher’s action is, and will continue to be, influenced by the needs, interests and actions of the children, appearing in this sense the title of this report, In the hands of a child.
