Abstract(s)
O estágio, realizado na Macro Consulting, centra-se na análise de projetos de
investimento, um tema de crescente relevância no contexto económico e empresarial, dado o
seu impacto na criação de valor e no desenvolvimento organizacional. Partindo de uma revisão
de literatura, o conceito de investimento é abordado como o compromisso de recursos no
presente visando benefícios futuros, sendo exploradas as suas dimensões teóricas, tipologias e
etapas essenciais, desde a conceção inicial até à fase de exploração. O principal objetivo deste
estágio é analisar a viabilidade de um projeto de investimento através de um estudo de caso que
terá em conta indicadores económicos e financeiros e a sua conformidade com o sistema de
incentivos de base territorial em Portugal. Para tal, a metodologia adotada assenta numa
abordagem quantitativa, centrada na avaliação de indicadores financeiros, como o Valor Atual
Líquido (VAL), a Taxa Interna de Rendibilidade (TIR) e o Payback, com base em dados reais
fornecidos por uma empresa candidata a um sistema de incentivos, garantindo uma análise
precisa e alinhada ao contexto específico da política de desenvolvimento regional.
The internship, carried out at Macro Consulting, focuses on the analysis of investment projects, a topic of growing relevance in the economic and business context, given its impact on value creation and organizational development. Based on a literature review, the concept of investment is approached as the commitment of resources in the present with a view to future benefits, and its theoretical dimensions, typologies, and essential stages are explored, from initial conception to the exploration phase. The main objective of this internship is to analyse the viability of an investment project through a case study that will take into account economic and financial indicators and its compliance with Portugal's land-based incentive system. To achieve this, the chosen method uses numbers to evaluate financial indicators like the Net Present Value (NPV), the Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and the Payback, using real data from a company seeking an incentive, which helps ensure a precise analysis that fits the local development policy.
