Este relatório de projeto dá a conhecer todos os detalhes sobre o projeto final elaborado
ao longo do segundo semestre do Mestrado em Tradução e Interpretação Especializadas
(MTIE).
Pretende a explanação da tradução de uma obra terminológica nas áreas do desporto
e da medicina desportiva, bem como todas as fases deste processo. Com este projeto
pretendi, através da experiência própria, a compreensão sobre o trabalho de tradução
técnica e quais as suas dificuldades em relação ao vocabulário terminológico, quais as
diferenças e semelhanças entre os pares ES-PT no tratamento da terminologia nestas áreas
e quais as abordagens utilizadas na tradução técnica.
This project report aims to provide all the details about the final project developed during the second semester of the Master in Specialized Translation and Interpreting (MTIE). It aims to explain the translation of terminology work in the areas of sports and sports medicine, as well as all the stages of this process. Through this project, I have tried to understand, through my own experience, the technical translation work and its difficulties in relation to terminological vocabulary, the differences, and similarities between ES-PT pairs in the treatment of terminology in these areas, and the approaches used in technical translation.
