Abstract(s)
This report was carried out within the scope of the curricular unit Supervised Teaching Practice, of the Master's in Teaching Music Education in Basic Education. It is divided into three chapters: The first chapter is entitled “Observation of 2nd Cycle Musical Practice”. A reflection is made on the observations made throughout the year. In the second chapter, the “Supervised Teaching Practice” appears. This topic presents the characterization of the school, the resources, the characterization of the class, the activities carried out throughout the year and a reflection on the pedagogical practice. The third, and final chapter, is part of the research project entitled “Repertoire in Generic Teaching and Specialized Teaching in Music – Articulated Regime”. The methodology used was the analysis of manuals and questionnaire surveys to students of generic education (5th or 6th grade) and to students of Specialized Education in Music – Articulated Regime (1st or 2nd grade). The musical repertoire is a tool available to teachers. In both teaching regimes, we noticed that it is used in a different way. This work intends to understand which methodologies are used, if there are, or not, points in common and which repertoires are most approached in these two teaching systems.
