| dc.description.abstract | Este projeto de tradução surge através de uma obra literária de cariz autobiográfico, mais concretamente focado na escrita diarística, que nos apresenta uma realidade que poucos conseguem viver. Com o crescimento da Fórmula 1 a nível global, Günther Steiner permite-nos mergulhar no dia-a-dia de uma equipa de Fórmula 1 durante a época desportiva de 2022. Deste modo, a intenção deste projeto é fornecer uma tradução para português europeu de dois capítulos da obra “Surviving to Drive”, escrita originalmente em inglês. Uma vez que este desporto está cada vez mais popular, a falta de uma tradução para português europeu desta obra foi o mote para a realização deste projeto. Assim, será apresentada uma tradução para esses dois capítulos, contando também com uma tradução comentada da mesma, onde as opções tradutivas serão devidamente justificadas, consoante o modelo tradutivo adotado neste projeto. Ademais, também será efetuada uma parte teórica, começando pela descrição da metodologia aplicada neste trabalho de projeto, seguindo depois para a definição dos conceitos por detrás desta obra, assim como haverá igualmente uma contextualização sobre este desporto, de modo a conhecer o autor desta obra e a história da Fórmula 1, desde a sua origem até aos dias de hoje. Por fim, este projeto revela-se desafiante, não só pelo facto de nunca ter sido traduzida para o português europeu, mas também devido à Fórmula 1 ser um desporto motorizado onde se utiliza uma linguagem altamente técnica, com muita terminologia específica. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This translation project arises from a literary book of an autobiographical nature, more specifically focused on diary writing, which presents us with a reality that few people manage to experience. With the growth of Formula 1 on a global scale, Günther Steiner allows us to immerse ourselves in the day-to-day life of a Formula 1 team during the 2022 season. This project aims to provide a translation into European Portuguese of two chapters of the book “Surviving to Drive”, originally written in English. Since this sport is becoming increasingly popular, the absence of a translation into European Portuguese of this book was the motto for this project. Thus, a translation will be written for these two chapters and a commented translation of the same, where the translation options will be duly justified, according to the translation method adopted in this project. In addition, there will also be a theoretical part, starting with a description of the methodology applied in this project work, then moving on to define the concepts behind this book. There will also be a contextualisation of this sport, to get to know the author of this book and the history of Formula 1, from its origins to the present day. Lastly, this project proves to be challenging, not only because it has never been translated into European Portuguese, but also because Formula 1 is a motorsport where a very technical language is used, with many specific terminologies. | por |
