Abstract(s)
A articulação das características estruturais do maciço rochoso com os procedimentos levados a cabo na etapa de desmonte, desempenham papel fundamental no resultado final pretendido (granulometria do material), condicionado diretamente as fases posteriores, nomeadamente as fases de carga-transporte e processamento industrial. Para esse efeito, e como irá ser abordado no presente estudo, foi desenvolvida na pedreira de Fornelo (Vila do Conde, Portugal), a análise da interação maciço rochoso-desmonte, sendo o foco principal a articulação da orientação da frente de desmonte a adotar relativamente aos parâmetros geológico-geotécnicos do maciço aflorante. Assim sendo, inicialmente realizou-se o estudo de uma pega de desmonte, do qual foram recolhidos e analisados (em pormenor) todos os parâmetros que “condicionam” as etapas supracitadas, controlo este executado em particular, visto a sua orientação ser distinta relativamente ao histórico existente. Posteriormente, e após tratamento dos resultados obtidos, confrontou-se estes com os valores previamente existentes, tendo esta análise o intuito de discernir a dependência e as consequências nos parâmetros identificados anteriormente (orientação da bancada de desmonte e características do maciço), e qual a influência que essa interação teria sobre o resultado final (granulometria) e as etapas posteriores. Como conclusão, propôs-se a realização da análise económica do processo em estudo, identificando detalhes importantes, nos quais futuramente dever-se-á intervir para tornar o presente processo mais rentável, tornando-o economicamente mais viável.
The articulation of the rock massif’s structural characteristics with the procedures that took place in the blasting operations play a fundamental part in the desired outcome (grain size) directly conditioning the later stages, namely the loading, transport and industrial processing. To this end and as it will be addressed in this study it was developed in the quarry of Fornelo (Vila do Conde, Portugal), the analysis of the rock mass and blasting operation’s interaction with the main focus being the articulation of the front line from the blasting operation’s orientation relative to the geological-geotechnical parameters of the outcropping rock mass. Therefore, initially it was conducted the study of the blasting graph in which it was collected and analyzed (in detail) all parameters that condition the aforementioned stages, control that was executed in particular, since its orientation is distinct relative to the existent history. Posteriorly and after data processing the results were confronted with previously existing data and this analysis has the intention to discern the dependence and the consequences in the previously identified parameters (orientation of the blasting bench and characteristics of the rock mass) and what is the influence that this interaction would have on the final outcome (granulometry) and the subsequent stages. As a conclusion it was proposed the elaboration of an economic analysis of the process in study identifying important details in which in the future an intervention should be made to make the present process more profitable making it economically more viable.
