Este projecto procura [re]pensar lugares em transformação ou recentemente transformados na cidade, confrontando as noções de cenografia e espaço urbano, no caso, do Porto. Através de acções performativas em espaço público que assentam no acto de caminhar, usado também como metodologia de criação, propõe ainda um pensamento sobre e através do corpo humano, confrontando-o com as ideias de máquina e tecnologia, a partir do uso de dispositivos-prótese, genericamente disfuncionais. Parte-se da ideia de contraste para questionar a linha de fronteira, confrontando lado a lado, cidade e cenografia, natural e artificial, quer no espaço urbano, quer nos limites do corpo humano.
This project seeks to [re]think changing or recently transformed places in the city, confronting the notions of scenography and urban space, in this case, in Porto. Through performative actions in public space that are based on the act of walking, also used as a creation methodology, it also proposes a thought over and through the human body, confronting it with the ideas of machine and technology, from the usage of somewhat dysfunctional prosthetic devices. It starts with the idea of contrast to question the borderline, confronting, side by side, city and scenography, natural and artificial, both in urban space and in the limits of the human body.
