O presente estudo tem como principal objetivo conhecer o papel das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação no processo de Recrutamento e Seleção através do conhecimento dos aspetos de melhoria neste processo com a utilização
do Recrutamento Online, do conhecimento dos aspetos procurados nos candidatos
através do Recrutamento Online, da identificação das redes sociais mais utilizadas
no Recrutamento Online e da identificação dos motivos que levam à não utilização
do Recrutamento Online durante um processo de Recrutamento e Seleção.
Os resultados do estudo mostram que as empresas nacionais e as empresas
com mais de 250 colaboradores são as que mais recorrem ao Recrutamento Online
durante um processo de Recrutamento e Seleção independentemente da atividade
económica à qual estejam associadas. O facto de as vagas em aberto da
organizações estarem disponíveis em vários websites em simultâneo, a
disponibilização da informação 24h por dia, a redução do tempo e dos custos do
processo e agilização da comunicação entre candidatos e a organização são alguns
dos motivos que levam as organizações a recorrer ao Recrutamento Online. Em
contrapartida, a valorização dos métodos tradicionais de recrutamento e o facto do
acesso a redes sociais não ser permitido na empresa são alguns dos motivos
apontados para a não utilização deste método de recrutamento.
Assim, podemos concluir que as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação
estão presentes no processo de Recrutamento e Seleção e que esta é uma
realidade cada vez mais presente nas organizações.
The objective of the study is to understand the role of information and communication technologies in the process of recruitment and selection through knowledge of improvement aspects in this process with the use of Online Recruitment, through knowledge the aspects sought in candidates via Online Recruitment, ID social networks most used in Online Recruitment and identifying the reasons that lead to non-use of Online Recruitment during the process of recruitment and selection. The study results show that national companies and companies with more than 250 employees are the most resort to Online Recruitment for a recruitment and selection process regardless of the economic activity to which they are associated. The fact that job openings organizations are available on multiple websites simultaneously, making information available 24 hours a day, reducing the time and process costs and streamline communication between candidates and the organization are some of the reasons why the organizations to use the Online Recruitment. In contrast, the use of traditional methods of recruitment and the fact that access to social networks not be allowed in the company are some of the reasons cited for not using this method of recruitment. Thus, we can conclude that the Information and Communication Technologies are present in the process of recruitment and selection and that this is a reality more and more present in organizations.
