Abstract(s)
No contexto atual, a importância atribuída às questões ambientais tem uma grande relevância para a manutenção de um planeta sustentável. Neste sentido, os estados, as organizações e as pessoas sentem-se na obrigação de implementar medidas que permitam a preservação do planeta.
O projeto tem como objetivo a integração de um Sistema de Gestão Ambiental, segundo o referencial normativo ISO 14001:2015, no Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade, já implementado e certificado há vários anos, de acordo com o referencial normativo ISO 9001:2015 na Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão do Politécnico do Porto.
Para alcançar este objetivo, foi utilizada uma metodologia de natureza qualitativa de investigação-ação, definindo-se como principais instrumentos de recolha de dados, a consulta dos documentos do Sistema de Gestão Qualidade, levantamento de todos os equipamentos, infraestruturas existentes e futuras, análise dos consumos com impacte ambiental e verificação da aplicabilidade requisitos legais.
A implementação do Sistema de Gestão Integrado de Qualidade e Ambiente contribuí para o cumprimento dos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável em prol do equilíbrio dos três pilares da sustentabilidade - económico, social e ambiental, assim como, reforçar a reputação da Escola Superior de Gestão e Tecnologia, através da melhoria do seu desempenho ambiental.
In today's context, the importance attached to environmental issues is very important for maintaining a sustainable planet. In this sense, states, organizations and individuals feel obliged to implement measures to preserve the planet. The aim of the project is to integrate an Environmental Management System, according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard, into the Quality Management System, which has already been implemented and certified for several years, according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard at the Porto Polytechnic School of Technology and Management. To achieve this goal, a qualitative action-research methodology was used, with the main data collection tools being consultation of the Quality Management System documents, a survey of all equipment, existing and future infrastructures, analysis of consumption with an environmental impact and verification of the applicability of legal requirements. The implementation of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System contributes to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals in favor of balancing the three pillars of sustainability - economic, social and environmental, as well as strengthening the reputation of the School of Management and Technology by improving its environmental development.
